David Herman is a partner with Gordian Group, a leading independent investment bank providing unconflicted advice to companies, boards, and shareholders—including PE firms, family groups and entrepreneurs — in complex, “story,” and distressed situations.
Since joining Gordian in 2000, he has worked with companies across a wide range of industries to facilitate successful restructurings, capital raises, and M&A transactions in and out of bankruptcy, and has also been involved in providing litigation support and expert witness testimony in matters related to valuation, solvency and investment banking.
He has spoken on panels at industry conferences for organizations such as the American Bankruptcy Institute and Association of Insolvency & Restructuring Advisors (AIRA) and has co-authored several articles for industry publications such as the ABI Journal, The Deal and the Turnaround Management Association’s Journal of Corporate Renewal.
Education
David received a BA with a degree in Math and Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, and holds his Series 7, 24, and 63 FINRA licenses.
