360 Global Wine Company was a leading producer of Italian varietal wines grown in the Sonoma County of California, operating under the name Viansa. The Company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in the state of Nevada in March 2007.
Gordian Group was retained by 360 Global Wine Company to advise the Company in connection with its Chapter 11 proceeding. Gordian Group assisted the Debtor with respect to analyzing strategic and restructuring alternatives, including running a complete capital raise/M&A process and assisting in the development of a plan of reorganization.
After running a comprehensive process and assisting with the aforementioned duties, Gordian Group was able to bring to the table several indications of interest. Ultimately the Company was sold pursuant to a 363 sale auction to its existing lender for approximately $40 million. Gordian Group’s marketing efforts and testimony were critical for the Debtor in obtaining Bankruptcy Court approval for the sale.
